The “Operahuset”, located at the head of the Oslo fjord is a stunning piece of modern architecture. Apparently, I’m not the only person drawn towards walking its sloped roof or admiring the wooden panels inside: the opera house attracted 1.3 million visitors within a year after opening its doors in 2008.
The picture is taken on the roof. On a beautiful morning in June with lots of sunshine and spectacular clouds, the blue and white are overwhelming. With the top part of the roof slightly tilted upwards, you really feel on top of the world.
